She has no children but I have three. So I can empathize with your situation. I'm not quite sure how we made it through. There was a lot of deep breathing and temper controlling (most of the time), and eventually she got back on her feet and out on her own. So there's hope. :)eglentynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07694941294903363559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5064037648782430478.post-75701390213007463682010-10-09T19:57:37.456-07:002010-10-09T19:57:37.456-07:00Thank you so much for the support! I'm actually the lucky one though on the fiancee, not many men would be willing to not only take on a neurotic writer/student/etc, but her crazy family as well. I think we all manage to get by simply because he's our shoulder to lean on, cry on, and spit-up on... he deserves a lot of credit for being uncle/brother-in-law/dad too!Anayahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06851363584055867950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5064037648782430478.post-33489056445356146882010-09-29T19:13:08.024-07:002010-09-29T19:13:08.024-07:00You're pretty amazing. I'm leaving two awards for you on my blog.http://www.samposey.com/https://www.blogger.com/profile/16689027309415722271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5064037648782430478.post-17053338930861561172010-09-16T07:35:37.119-07:002010-09-16T07:35:37.119-07:00Narrow little definitions of "family" ju...Narrow little definitions of "family" just don't compare to the reality, that's for certain. I had a sister-mom. I've been an aunt-mom and an "other-mother."

One piece of advice I got from a woman who traveled from India to Montana with two children under three--while pregnant--has got me through a lot of chaos: "You can't throw up your hands because the baby will hit the ceiling." That pretty much covers it. There is no giving up and it helps to have a sense of humor.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10147284664183496856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5064037648782430478.post-30620664918559952492010-09-08T08:48:00.588-07:002010-09-08T08:48:00.588-07:00Hi Anaya,

I'm a career woman (no children) and I still need more time in the day to finish all my tasks. Pat yourself on the back for all the wonderful things you're doing in the name of "love". Yep! That's what true love is. :)
Cheers to you from Montreal!
Claudia
www.claudiadelbalso.blogspot.com
P.S.
